2. Taskfeed License and Permission Set Types
Does everyone in my Organization need a License?
Only Salesforce users who require access to Taskfeed and Taskfeed-related data (including reports & dashboards) need to be licensed.
- The type of License assigned will depend on whether those are Salesforce internal users (employees) or Salesforce Community users (customers, partners or contractors) in your organization.
- The Permission Set defines what each licensed user can see and do within Taskfeed.

How is License Usage Enforced?
Only the total aggregate number of Licenses assigned is capped and enforced at point of assignment. The assignment and usage of each License Type is not enforced at points of assignment, which may lead you to over allocation of a specific License Type. If we find that you have over allocated licenses for a prolonged period, our License Management System will alert your Primary and Billing Contact to ask you to correct this.

Permission Set Types:
Taskfeed Permission Sets define the appropriate level of access each user will be given to Taskfeed within your Organization. There are different permission sets that come out of the box with Taskfeed.Taskfeed Standard User: Taskfeed Standard User is recommended for standard users of Taskfeed. A Taskfeed Standard User can Create, Edit and Delete Tasks, Checklists and Time Logs. They can create and edit Boards but cannot create or edit Lists. They can also collaborate with other users via Chatter.
Taskfeed Super User: Grant this permission to team members or managers who need a bit more control over Taskfeed. A Taskfeed Super User can do everything a Standard User can but they can also create and edit Lists on a Board. Super Users cannot manage Taskfeed Templates.
Taskfeed Admin User: Taskfeed Admin Users have full access to all Taskfeed objects. This permission is required for users who will be managing Taskfeed Templates in your organization.
⚠️Taskfeed Admin Users are not given visibility to Boards they do not own or are not a part of as a team member. Taskfeed Board Sharing Rules can grant further Taskfeed visibility to a logical grouping of users.
Taskfeed Standard Read-Only User: Taskfeed Standard Read-only User is recommended for users who just require view-only access to Taskfeed. A Taskfeed Standard Read-only User can View Boards, List, Tasks, Checklists, and Time Logs. They can also collaborate with other users via Chatter.
