  1. It would be great if tasks in a list could be sorted automatically by start date or due date.

We try to keep tasks in each list somewhat chronological by dragging them around, but when you import a new task template or are re-arranging dates that can become cumbersome. It would be really nice to the option to sort automatically. We would like it to sort by date but even adding the functionality to sort A-Z or by date created etc. could be helpful too.

  3. Adopt a board/project hierarchy model

On many occasions multiple projects can be can be included in customer order, which is then recorded against one salesforce opportunity.

These projects may not always run concurrently even if the tasks for each project are the same.

Being able to create sub boards and tasks, then track overall status and percentage complete at the parent board level, would be a great addition to the taskfeed feature set.

  6. Viewing Tasks on Archived Board

When we finish a project at our company we archive the board so it disappears from the Taskfeed tab. There are times though that we add time to the task cards of archived boards. In order to do this we need to un-archive the board to view it on the Taskfeed tab make our edits and then re-archive.

It would be handy if when looking at the project on the Taskfeed board tab and we click on the Go To Board button that the board opens up on the Taskfeed tab.

  7. Add Control for Visual Display of TF List

Given the limited user screen width available to view a Task Board, it would be helpful if the display of particular lists could be hidden from view, if that list is not relevant.

This could be accomplished by setting css for the <div> element of that List to 'display:none'. Further, this could be controlled by a new boolean parameter in the TaskFeed List object...something like "hideDisplay". Then in the VisualForce page for the BoardPanel, set 'display:none' if hideDisplay= true.

I tested the css setting in Browser and it worked perfect. So just need code to set attribute based on object…

  8. Add prefix to Taskfeed Notifications

Lot of notifications are recieved from different systems.
People are working with Outlook Rules and looking for a string that will exist in all Taskfeed notifications.
suggested to add "Taskfeed:" (or similar) as a prefix to all Taskfeed notifications.

  9. Show first open Checklist Item on Task cards/items

It would be extremely useful to have the name of the first available checklist item for a Task visible in some form on most views, and have a quick way to complete it from that view as well. Having to view the Info panel to see/act on any checklist items is overwhelming if I just want to see what is next in the checklist sequence.

Omnifocus has "First Available" and "Remaining" views that achieve this: when these views are selected, only the next child action of a project/action is visible, and when you complete that action, the next action appears.

  10. Add a field verification when logging time, so that a bad time format doesn't result in a lost description

When logging time for a task, if the format for the time is wrong, Taskfeed won't record the activity and any description that was typed in the appropriate field is lost forever.

It would be great if there was a verification of the time format prior to clicking "Confirm" (and loosing the a lengthy explanation of what transpired during that time)

  11. Reoccurring tasks

Ability to create and maintain a list of re-occuring tasks that would be created bi-weekly or monthly or another set time frame. Once task is complete, then would remain off the list until the X number of days before task is due again.

  12. Printing PDF from Taskfeed to include Arrows of Relationships

When printing a PDF of the plan view: Names of some of the tasks are cut off hiding the dates, as well as none of the arrows print. PDF copies needed to share with some stakeholders without SF access.

  14. Additional Task Dependancy Options

Include other standard project management task dependency options

    Currently Finish to Start

Would be nice to include all 4 standard PM Dependancies to better utilize gantt charts https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dependency_(project_management)

  15. Quick actions buttons (Complete/Later/Upcoming) from Daily Digest email

Our company uses SaneBox, which sends you an end-of-day digest emails of "unimportant" emails that you can mark-as-read/archive/trash/ect. from clicking buttons in the email body. These buttons take you to the SaneBox web app, which handles the completion of the action upon page load.

Would it be possible to have similar buttons in the Taskfeed Daily Digest that not only take you to Taskfeed, but also fulfill an action, like completing the Task or moving the Task from Today to Later or Upcoming?

  16. Time tracking widget with built in task-adding and timer

It would be great to be have some sort of built-in time tracking application that plugs directly into Taskfeed and enable quick adding of Tasks and Time natively. It would be even better to have it as some sort of hosted desktop application or Chrome plugin.

  17. Add the ability to enter financials into a task to track the task cost or activity cost

Many of the activities related tot developing new business have internal or external costs. To better understand how a project is proceeding it is also important to understand the expenses. Opportunities give us the upside for growing business but there isn't a way of measuring the costs of closing the opportunities within sales force. Taskfeed when used for opportunity management could enable this.

  18. Add link to email when creating a task from Cirrus Insight Inbox App

When adding a task via Cirrus Insight Inbox App it would be handy to have a link to the email in the task details. This would make it easy to view the whole email thread

  19. View all of a record's related Taskfeed Tasks in a Visualforce Taskfeed pane.

The ability to assign a Taskfeed Board to a record via lookup has been a key feature for integrating Taskfeed into our SFDC workflow for our org.

As an extension of that idea, the ability to see all Tasks related to that record, even if they are on other Boards, would be a killer feature. I imagine it could be visible on a separate tab, sort of like how the Taskfeed Inbox App lets you switch between related Tasks and your personal inbox.

I imagine the Visualforce page would know to use the lookup for the same Object as its…

  20. Ability to set lookup relationships on Taskfeed Tasks.

Right now, lookups have to be set per field, and putting them in the Task popup field set takes up a lot of screen real estate and clutters the screen. A generic lookup field, with a dropdown to specify Object type, that functions like the SFDC Task Related To field would make a lot of sense here.

Perhaps the available lookup fields could be filtered by Category? (ex. A Category named Case would be configured have the Case, Account, and Contact lookup fields visible from the dropdown. Or perhaps be functionally/visually linked to Custom Labels? (ex. you could click on…
